Dom and I had a great Thanksgiving break....we spent Thursday here in Marquette. We had a turkey dinner at Kirsti and Mike's house late Thursday afternoon. Stella and Spencer were so cute.
My friend, Sandy Knoebel and her daughter, Cindy, and her son, Logan, came over for a visit to Kirsti's house. It was so much fiun watching the kids interact with each other. Logan will turn one years old on Dec. 18th.....
It snowed a little that day, but we were still able to get in a walk along the city streets that evening after dinner.....good thing, so we could make room for pumpkin pie!
Then Friday morning, we headed to the Twin Cities to spend some time with Trina and Jon....and our other two little cuties......Morgan and Natalie. We had a lot of play time, reading books, and even headed out to the zoo and also, took in a holiday parade......Poor Trina wasn't feeling well, but she tried to tough it out.....we felt so sorry for her. She had a small bout of the flu, but managed to keep up the pace......tough Yooper girl....we are hoping she feels better soon!
It was back to work today...the kids are all hyped up for the upcoming Christmas holidays....it's going to be a tough three weeks, trying to get them to buckle down to the academics......I'll just keep them busy and bribe them with art projects! They love to make things and take them home, etc.
Well.....we're thinking of all of you....as the snow falls and the wind picks it up to create the snow drifts! Dom has the snowblower and the tractor ready!!!! I'll "man" the shovel! Ha!
