A new week.....back in the salt mines!

Good Morning, Everyone.....
Well, I composed a blog last night and as I was finishing my entry, I must have hit a button on the laptop and WHAM......it disappeared!  Yuk.... and so I just went to bed!  LOL
The snow is melting outside at a steady pace, and we are expecting some rain in the forecast.  It will be good to clean up the streets and maybe, the front yard will show some grassy areas!
School is busy.....we are finalizing the report cards for the third quarter.  The cards go home to the parents on April 1st!   "April Fool"  LOL  (We'll see who gets the last laugh!)
Well, I'm off for the day........have a good one!  Later.........

TGIFT....Thank God It's Friday Tomorrow! :-)

Hi there....
I'm making it through the week, but it's been a "barn burner" and the kids at school are crazy with spring fever.  We've been getting teased with some warm temperatures, but then today it went back to the 20's!  Honestly, it just drives us all up the wall!  More later......

March 10th....more snow coming this way!

Good Morning, everyone.....
It's a full week of school this week......and it's a crazy time with the students.  They are all excited about it being "March's Reading Month."  We have crazy activities all through the month to promote reading and give the students some extra reading TLC.  Tomorrow it's "Stuffed Animal Day" and on Thursday, it's "Read Your Hat Day."  The students just love doing these things, but sometimes it gets in the way of individual control (if you know what I mean)!
We had a great weekend, despite some icy conditions on the ski hill, etc.  We downhill skied on Saturday and Sunday.  Kirsti and I took Stella on a snowshoe walk around the Fit Strip on Saturday evening.  Red lanterns were lit and lined the way around the track.  However, most of the people were  cross-country skiing, but it was so darn icy that I was afraid that someone would break a leg or something!  Thus, Kirsti and I chose to get out the snowshoes, and we pulled Stella behind us in "the chariot."  It was still a workout! :-)  Dom babysat Spencer, as Mike was helping with running the event.
    All for now.......later......

A few more pictures......no words necessary!

Sunday...March 1st

Whew!  What a week.....and a weekend.....here are some pictures  from last weekend that some of you will get a kick out of!  Natalie enjoyed playing dress-up at Auntie Kirsti's house.....we had some great chuckles!  It must be a "girl thing".......
And we had our own little dog sled ridess on the road here at the Crossroads!  The kids loved having Annie pull them in the sled, so we were happy to have the new snow!
   More later....
